I'm probably asking an unanswerable question here, but I'm getting desparate now. What I thought was going to be first AG died at about Day 9 and now I only have one left probably for the season. It is 5 days old now. Can anyone offer an opinion if this one looks like it will make it?

I agree move the soaker hoses away from the pumpkin want to keep the ground under it dry and the pumpkin for that matter. I wouldn't worry about the early shape it will change as the weight goes on. Grow em Big! Chuck

Thanks for the tips everyone. I sure don't want to go away empty handed this year.
