Was just wondering if anyone has ever grown a pumpkin plant out to full term with no leaves on the plant? Just one main vine with one pumpkin on it. Well that is where this rookie grower is at right now. All of my leaves have died due to a prolonged heat wave, atleast thats what i'm assuming anyhow. They (leaves) were toasted brown so i trimmed them all off. Now I have a plant with one main vine about 28 to 30 feet long with a pumpkin set at the very end. Whats the odds of it (pumpkin) continuing to grow? Just curious...Thanks for the suggestions....Shawn.

Shawn..it will actually grow a bit at first...then if the plant is at all alive, will throw out new little vines...train these like a normal vine...burry etc....the will actually generate some new growth for the pkn.......G
