some AG'sare green till they ripen up, just like regular field pumpkins. My experience is that the ones that start out green end up a nice dark orange. While many of the yellow ones end up lighter orange, pink, salmon, etc. I don't know the history of the 1062 off hand to tell you what it might end up throwing.

If it is green at day 10 still, it will be a greeny!!!!! If it has dark green stripes and yellow to pale green skin, it will be pumpkin. Enjoy!!!!!! The 1062 appears to have a recessive green gene in it from talking to other growers. It is very possible that you will have a squash.

If you check the growers diary and look at Brusier's entries, he is growing a 1062 Rivard and had another one he culled and they look yellow. Maybe he could shed some history if you drop him an email.

it may turn very orange or you may just have a squash growing there. i wouldnt worry about. there is nothing wrong with a squash and it would be nice to have a good orange pumpkin
