I was wondering if somone could tell me why i cant seem to get the 625 Desrosiers 01 to set a pumpkin?
The plant is the nicest plant i have....real green leaves and the pumpkins have big stems.
The pumpkins all seem to abort....I do have one im watching now to see if it starts to move but the pumpkin has been on 5 days and has only gotten 4 inches lager in circumfrence!!
What could be going on?

Hey BVLP, Kenny I'm in a limited space and the harsh prining I have to do might be effecting my plant. Been in a heat wave/drought and can't tell what's going on. have had two show signs of growth but added extra nitrogen to em to see if I could blow em up and they aborted...I know pappy had some on the vine in his heat so I doubt it's that! If ya solve it please email me! It's getting late. one pollenated 5 days ago...nothing...pollenated one this morning..we'll see.

Say guys thanks....I think that one has set now!
I polinated it 6 days ago and it is at 2 lbs today.....Its a vary slow grower but, has a nice size stem.
