You know, as I look through the photos, both in the diaries and in the photo area, I am struck by how much I would love to be many of you folks! I am sure that you reflect upon your happy situations from time to time, but if not, for my sake, think about it. Many of you have such lovely properties, with lush gardens, and the resources to post the pictures thereof to this site. I know that we all have our problems, and no doubt you would happily share some of your troubles, but still, life is good, isn't it? Just a thought.

Exactly. I´m an office worker and the garden is something to enjoy every day I come home. First thing is measuring the pumpkins, but if they weren´t there, it would relax me as well. What really makes me mad is all that negative talking about bad economy in the news. They really paint life black. I´ve stopped listening and look at something green...or orange. Yes, life is good!

My extended family is 100' from my house in my pumpkin patch. The nurture/reward ration is huge. All is right with the world standing there among your seasonal offspring.
