After all the problems I've had with the flat/double/mutant 1020 Papez, I MAY have one sticking around, though it's only 10 days old. Anyone else growing this plant, please post your results. Does anybody know any "large" 10 day or 20 day numbers that lived to tell about it? I thought my 1062 Rivard was steamrolling (at least to me) at 29"@ 10 days and 71" @20 days but my Papez is at 36" at 10 days. The Papez grew 7" from day 9 to 10, and I'm not doing anything special, just drip irrigation with an EZ-Gro injector, and I even forgot to turn it on yesterday. I know Al Eaton's 10-20-30 day rule #'s but are there any big 10-20-30 day numbers published anywhere? Any numbers greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Mark, I am new at this and I don't know if this is right or wrong to ask, but, could I buy or have 5 seeds from Papez 1020? I have been reading alot of the diaries and the talk and the Papaz looks like a good seed. Mary

Mare, I don't have anymore 1020 Papez seeds, I have 1 planted, but if the fruits make it 'til fall to get seeds, you're welcome to some then, or I'll send some in to bigpumpkins.com for distribution. They wouldn't be called 1020 Papez anymore but something like a 1499 Korney 02 or something :)
