I was looking for a website that has satellite images that go down far enough to look at an area that you live. It seems like I remember a conversation on here several months ago and websites for images but I couldn't find it. Thomas

Mapquest.com has aerial photos but no satellite.

Ask Bruiser where he got his "pumpkins from space" photo from. He posted it last year.

I got mine from mapquest.com. Find your city/street with the "driving" map, then click on the "aerial photo" tab. Ya, it's not really satellite but who can tell the difference. You never know how up-to-date the image will be; try to look for construction in the area that might shed some clue as to the date of the photo. In my case, I lucked out and got a recent pic. Terraserver works too, but for my area the images are older (most recent is 1988).
