I posted 4 pics of SVB MOTH to the photo gallery, they are now online. See the latest gallery pics or the user photo gallery for korney19. This nuisance pest was put out of its misery with a fly swatter on Saturday afternoon, 7/27.

Nice set of pics! Shouldn't they just be dropping with that Warrior-T?

Hey Mark, Man they are ugly! Still have never seen one of them...I know that's a jinx but sure glad guys like you post these type of pictures for us to know what to watch out for. This thing looks like a moth in flight, or more like a fly? Wings don't look like the stand up like moths. The more I know the better! Chuck

Ken, thanks. The eggs I saved or leaf stalks with eggs on them that I saved have never hatched anything, so either they need sunlight/food, etc or the Big W is working. I have yet to hit a moth with a stream of the liquid, nor have I found any dead moths laying around but did see 1 bumblebee stiff; otherwse just some dead flies, gnats & browned aphids, about the only other pests in the garden this year (so far.) Chuck about that jinx, don't forget prevailing winds are from the west... and you're to the east of me! Maybe they change color after a good swatting because they sure look bright red when resting on a leaf. I think my "patch" is so crowded that they are getting tired of having to walk down the stems from the leaf instead of flying in tight quarters; I've been finding eggs very close to the top of the stem the last couple days, just down from the funnel area.
