10) Your patch is more neater than the house.

9) In your purse you carry pics of your pumpkin along with the childrens.

8) You always pic second and third names for your pumpkin in case it aborts.

7) You don't mind taking time on your holidays to go around and see other people patches.

6) You ask your better half to go out and get milk, bread and 15-30-15.

5) You don't mind taking the garbage out yourself as it gives you time to peak in on the pumpkin.

4) You have abandoned having children as they would only take away from the time you have in your patch.

lets see yesterday my sweetie told me that she hates me and that dam PUMPKIN..i'm sure that she'll come around its just a matter of time..i really gotta just hang in there,soon she will stop saying that i've gone off the deep end and learn to appreciate the finer things in life...like a giant pumpkin in your back yard,the kind you can't eat or touch and must wash your hands if you do forget and give it a little pat..well gotta go bury some vines..

My bride of 16 years goes out everyday and makes sure the sprinklers are working, scolds me for not tending to her punkin's like I do mine yet won't let me pollinate hers, she lets the bee's do it, except for the only big one she has..hmmmm. She'll prime the pump if it loses it during the day and only gripes a little about the 100 dollars in fertilizer, hose connections and sprinkler heads..I'd say I'm pretty well off..couple of seasons and she might even go out and turn the big one on the vine twice a day...hehe

My husband helps by putting in the sprinkler pipes and not complaining about a messy house as long as I have dinner on time and lots of chocolate in the house.
