So my franchise owner came to our house to help jeff352 load the pumpkin. Saw the patch and started asking how to grow giant pumpkins....needless to say jeff gave him a few seeds and he took them home and got them sprouted. The next day when I went to work he told me he got cussed out, when asked why,,,,,he said he hared up the back yard and his wife was not happy,,,LOL. Knew he was interested, but never thought he'd do that. Had no idea what he was getting himself in for. Now he has a contest going with jeff on who can grow the biggest pumpkin and he has a 2 week headstart on his seed. Jeff is planting another seed this week,,,,,IF HE ONLY KNEW HOW ADDICTING THIS IS!!!

I will see her tomorrow night,,,,,jeff better watch out! When he went home from work the other day it was up about 4 inches in the pot. He thought his wife played a trick on him and put something else in there. We tried to tell him!

Oh no, my fault. That makes 5 @ the weigh-off. Dobber has a couple of beauts out there and another neighbor, Ronald has a couple of nice plants going, but no fruit yet. (My season is not yet over!!) LMAO!!!

As I have mentioned, we rent, and the back yard is mostly lawn. What would happen if I just dug a little hole in the center of the lawn next year and planted an AG in it. Is there any chance that both the plant and the lawn could survive? I want so much to grow a giant pumpkin, but my little side yard that I am using this year is just not nearly big enough. Any thoughts? PVZ

Patience, Till up as much as you can . Bring in a lot of composted manure, fertilize regularly, spray for bugs and or fungus, and pray!!! Of course check in with your landlord first.
