First time grower here. We have culled down to are final two pumpkins and they have started to grow 6 inches a night now. They were growing 4 inches and yesterday we noticed that there were spider cracks on them but they didn't go into the pumpkins. Are these just scars that come from growing to much or what? Should we cut back on fertilizer?-Todd

Sounds like its starting to cantalope..Is common,,dont worry,,all will be fine..My 378 this year was full of cantaloping......^_^
