I got an email from someone called catalinaisland1 with bigpumpkin.com in the subject area telling it to read the thread. Norton antivirus found a virus in this note. It said it was infected with the W32.Klez.H@mm virus.

Be aware if you get this email...

Hey that sounds familiar, I got an e-mail yesterday from "Ph2" which I have no idea who that is and it didn't show up when I did a search for the name on the site and the subject was "BigPumpkins.com. All rights reserved" an attachment was enclosed when I peaked into the attachment without saving it to hard drive and opening it that way, it had a pic of a pumpkin plant a text file which was blank and a .bat file. Deleted it asap.

Watch out guys, seems someone is stalking BigPumpkins.com

Garden State Pumpkins

Sorry Guys,,,Came off my address book somehow got through my mcaffee virusscan utility which is supposed to snuff out everything in Email.....I dentified the source and cleaned this machine....Turned the machine down when I went on vacation so when I turned it back on whatever it was got through, was on bigpumpkins next thing I know my email message alert is binging away with rejected emails I never sent...Thought it was safer to turn off the computer but obviously if its in message waiting triggers before all the start up programs run like virusscan. Yikes sorry guys I have the fix if antone needs it. Can only trust attachments from me dated after today....Chuck

I got a similar one, but the virus attachment had been deleted by my anit-virus before it came into my mailbox.
It was from [email protected].......
I looked all over the site for that user name (fondue), and couldn't find it.
I didn't get infected, but i've been getting quite a few e-mails like that lately!

Garden State Pumpkins

Hey Cuz, all three above are out of my address book..none are from Bigpumpkins.com. The virus got in under Vshield as the computer booted up. Disabled Mcaffee Vshield and corrupted the virus data files. This is incredible, I had to reload the entire program and data files after the discovery. the reloaded upgrade actually pauses the computer and have to tap a key to start the viruscan up then the boot sequence for windows starts will stop the emails from coming through on boot since virusscan is running prior to internet access. live and learn!
