Do you remove the flower from the pumpkin after you have pollinated or do you let it fall off naturally? Thanks Mary

Let it fall off naturally. It will dry up on it's own.

If you live in a humid area or are experiencing a humid period weatherwise, I highly recommend pulling off the flower after a couple days. rinse the blossom with 10% bleach and water solution, let dry, and dust with an all purpose fungiside. Mold, mildew and fungus can attack the nubs beneath the rotting flower causing blossom end rot....trust me, it will happen...........G

Thanks G, for your advice. It has been hot and humid here. Did you mean the blossom end with the bleach solution afteer the flower is removed? Is the inside of the pumpkin safe? Mary, fist timer :)

Yes...just rinse the blossom end with the 10% solution...its a good idea to spray it on...and also on the whole pumpkin.
