So this afternoon I noticed my plant was suffering a little heat stress and I decided to water it for a quick 5 minutes to get it back into shape (watering always does the trick), well while I was watering, a city crew was down at the city park just behind our house posting signs around the fishing pond saying that the pond had just been sprayed for algae, blah blah...
Later on I got back into the house and about a half hour later the city calls me telling me I can't water during the day and that I can only water on odd numbered days (since our house number is odd) between 6 and 8PM at night.
Do they *really* think I'm only going to water my plants every other day when it's been 90-100 degrees for the last few weeks?!
Bleh, just look what trouble this hobby is getting me into.. LOL

run a hose down to the pond and suck that sucker dry...Can't stop ya from watering with surface water! Leave the fish flopping in the mud!

On days when you can water...fill up a couple of 45 gallon drums beside your plant. Remember...you can't fight city hall!
