I have really bad conditions for pollination - it´s raining, everything is wet and pollen difficult to transfer. Can you pollinate again the other day just to be sure it takes?

Good question Ingo. I read a post from Tom Beachy that said you should keep the female tied up for six days to stop bees from bringing in different pollen. SO if your being the bee I would say you could buzz away another day!

I think the females are only receptive for 1 or 2 days. and wet conditions- ie wet pollen- will not get the job done. I won't hurt to try again tomorrow- you might try covering all the flowers you think you might use with a plastic sandwich bag to keep them dry. good luck !
