My father-in-law has 4 plants that started out fine but things have changed. The new growth has been affected. the leaves are very small and has very tight ripples in them. new growth around the original leaves is affected too. We have seen anything like it, can anyone help us out?
Here is a couple of links to the pictures. If the links do not work look in the photo galory under chuck(2).
Thanks

Chuck,I've never seen anything like that before.Did your father in law do anything differant to his soil this year? did he have the soil tested profesionally, did he overload on fertilizers? Those would be some good starting points! too me,looking at the pics, the plants look green enough and healthy, but stunted.Sorry i couldent help more.John

Chuck, did you check the pics that Colonan mentioned,it looks identical, someone in your area must have sprayed with that 2-4-D STUFF,should have your farther in law check around. That woould be my guess after seeing the pics of both plants compared.John

Chuck, looks like what happened to my plants but worse. My 924 rose came out of it, but my 945 Van is not doing to well. It still doesn't look as bad as your pics though. I tried some sugar water on the 924 rose right away and it helped. i waited on the 945, it helped but not as well as the 924 and the 924 was hit harder at first. It was the effects of 2-4D. Kenny B

Yeah that could work, but how much sugar should be added per 5gallons of water, for he might want to use at least that much, plus it will feed the bacteria in the soil, but beer could also do the job
