I have two questions, is it possible to change the flowering pumpkin to the opposite side of the vine? Seems some of my pumpkins come on the wrong side of the vine, just curious if it could be changed. second, I need an opinion, my first pumpkin flowered today, the stem is decent, but it comes out of the vine in the middle top part instead of on the outside. Seems ok, just not sure if this will be bad for it when it gets bigger. It might be just a little closer to the main vine because of this, but thought I would get opinions on if it's ok or not, Thanks, Jim

I wouldnt try to train a pumpkin to the other side of the vine,it could have negitive results. It seems that you whould lose a sertin amount of stem lengh and that could cause stem stress later on in the season.and its not that their growing on the wrong side of the vine, most of the time evry other flower will be on the oppisit side as the last.If the flower is strate up you should train it to one side.
