My plants have at least 8 foot main and secondary mains and some don't have any females yet, while other growers' pumpkin vines throw females at the 4 foot mark. What causes this?. I have been fertilizing with 15-30-15 foliar and as a drench, plus liquid seaweed.

The vine is real happy plenty of nitrogen and good weather, Not worroied about the propagation of the species yet. Scare it a little cut out a meal or two...I wouldn't worry. Just check the nitrogen levels grows great vines but aborts pumpkins. chuck
