Now that New England's weather looks a little bit more like Seattle's, a quick question. How does one fertilize? Should the schedule I'm on be adapted to the weather? If it rained for three days straight it seems the last thing you would want to do is give your plant more water. But the fertilizer needs to get to the palnt some how. Does the benefits of the fertilizer out weigh the overwatering? Thanks in advance.

Out here in the Pacific Northwest, we use MG 15-30-15, fish fertilizer and kelp. I fertilize at least twice a week. Is your soil saturated with water?

It drains pretty well just wondering if even more water when fertilizing would hurt.

If you grab a handfull of soil and squeeze it tight and no water runs out, then you can fertilize with water soluable fertilizers
