I'm a second year grower, I live in san diego, temperature ranges from spring to summer between 65 degrees and 95 on average. I use misters, last year I had no problems with any plant burn. this year one plant is fine with mister and my other one gets burned on the ends of new vines and leaves so I'm having to mist and partial shade. My questions is how common is this type of plant burn even with misters? Did I just get a real sensative plant or is this common? Sure makes more work to have to shade too. Any warm weather growers advice would be great. Thanks, Jim

I had my main vine tip burned off a couple of years ago from the heat and sun . I shade as much of the new growth as I can. (just the tips of the vines ) And yes if you spray for bugs in the heat of the day you might burn your plants. Spray at nightfall.
