I was wondering how all of your plants are doing as of now.
2 of my main plants(815holland-1007brown)seem a little behind, thier only at about 3 feet but growing fast now.do you think they'll be ready by fruit set time?I also have a 700+ squash plant that I started way early(april 2)that is 13 foot long now and has 6 foot side runners(vary agressive)I'm gona pollinate this plant in about a week.are you guys going to pollinate some time in the first week of july?????

most of my plants are around 3-4 feet in vine length right now. You should be fine. MOst growers in WI got a late start. My plants should be ready to set fruit from july 5th to july 13th or so. Depends how early or late the plants will throw females.

where is your 700+ squash plant from?? And are the females green? sounds like a good plant.

I seem to be right there with you. My best plant is about 3 feet in length. I blame the slower start on the cold weather we had earlier. But lately they have all been starting to take off. Good luck...

My plants are doing pretty good right now. My two largest plants are the 868 Nesbitt and the 547 Armstong. The main vines on these plants are around 8 feet. Secondaries are close to 4 feet long. The 868 actually threw its first male flower today.

My smallest plants are the 1262 Emmons and 960 Rose. The 1262 has a main vine about 6 feet long. It looks great and has HUGE leaves. The 960 Rose is also a little behind with a main vine measuring about 6'6".

Three of my best plants are about 6 to 7 feet long. Last Sat, Sun, and Monday when it was nice and warm, they grew about 20 inches in three days. The 540 Beachy has some big leaves, one is 23 inches across.
