Arkansas

My search on the internet for the pumpkin record for the state of Arkansas has been unfruitful (pun intended). Would the county extension agent have this information or should I go elsewhere?

Most are listed at http://www.backyardgardener.com/record.html but not one for Arkansas.

The weighoff in Allardt, TN is the closest one to Arkansas that I know of. There website is http://members.aol.com/TNpumpkin/fest.html. Not much info there but you may be able to contact them for more info about past weighoffs.

Maui, Hawaii

Since there are no records for Arkansas or here in Hawaii, how would we go about establishing new records in our states? Does anyone know?? I have a good shot at setting a state record here in Hawaii. I only have two other people to compete with , which is more than I expected since it originally started with just myself, then my father got involved, now one of his friends has also planted some AG's on his farm. Giant Pumpkin fever is spreading like wild fire!! Anyway if anyone has any info please reply
