When you look at the flower on the stem, where exactly should it be cut off? Near the vine, near the flower? And should all flowers be cut off until the vine has grown fairly large?

I don't think that it matter where you cut the stem of the flower, unless you folks on the right coast have some potential bug problem that us folks on the left coast don't have to worry about.
a few people like to cut off all the flowers until the keepers females come along. however I think most leave them on. -except any females that they don't want for some reason.
