Is anybody else's 996.5 emmons a slow grower.The leaves are healthy,but is growing slow,with my main growing up in the air,which is about 10 inches.

I tried the 996 emmons this year, unfortunately it grew 2 small leaves and then started dying. I dug it up and it had hardly any roots. Threw it away and started over. Hope you have better luck, Jim

Mines a "monster"! Eight foot main already growing out the ends of the hoop house! Leaves are 30" high over 24" wide!! That plant has performed well last year as well as this year. I do not understand what is going on in your patches.....just send me all your "left over" 996.5 seeds!
