i have ordered Langevins book # 2, as i have heard alot of people say this book is "gold" and the bible to pumpkin growing. my question is, does both volumes have the same info, or does book two have more info but the same info as # 1? like i said, i ordered # 2, should i get # 1 also?
thanks from a new grower, looking forward to growing for many, many years to come.

AG I got the #2 book 3years ago and the pages are well worn. I have never seen #1 book but I believe most of the info also in #2. Good luck John/water

I own both, the mere fact you're on this site and posting here means you need both books. The second makes references from the first so it isn't written as if the first didn't exist. I find them both helpful. Even if some information is repeated, I'm more confident in it's recommendations. You will enjoy both very much.

i think the main advantage to owning both books is a greater
variety of pumpkin growers to know about--various ones that were into it even before the ones in the volume 2......
but i followed my instincts and got volume 2 first, for the most recent information, then decided to complete my set!

hey, the more (growers) you know, the more you'll grow!

amazon should have it. Sometimes used copies are available at bookfinder.com.

If you go to the "How to..." section of this site and select the "Get the Books" link you will find links directly into Amazon.com for both of Don's books.
