My soil test came back ,,, my salt level is 1.31 ds/m ..U-MASS test lab recommedations is (soil range .08--.50ds/m) How can i drop the level with out adding more water to leach it out .Should i add more Gypsum ? I have a clay base soil and my calcium level is at 4128 ppm & magnesium is at 560 ppm.. What should i do ??

Don't "sweat it"! My salt readings last October were above 5! Ag's are very salt tolerant. The patch produced 875, 874, 757 and 733 pounders.

highest i've seen is 5.97. i figured i would again plug my continuing efforts to collect soil test results. the data will be incorporated into the aggc in some way this winter. please email full results to [email protected], and you can compare with the other growers who have helped out.

hoppy, if possible STOP using any granular fertilizers. They are heavily laden with salts and will just increase your levels. I got same problem here in heavy clay. Going all liquid fertilizers this year since they have very little salts in them. Steve
