I saw your question about watering in your diary.not very often,over watering results in yellowing of the leafs and possibly root rot(with cold temps)I havent watered in 4 days.I dig down 1 to 3 " with my fingers in the hoop houses if theirs adaquite moisture the soil will stick togather in a clump when squished in your hand,and if it's to dry(use your own opnion)i water ,since plants are 18" apart i only use 2 or 3 gallons each time i water.
