I uses alot during the beginging and in the middle of the plants life by that time i have blown the big one up and have a bunch of 500-600lbers would have blown up all of them if wouldn't of had vine borers. lol

My fertilizing strategy closely follows the philosophy which has guided me through my chosen avocation...mechanic. A little extrapolation to fertilization is required...as to the proper torque to be applied to any bolt or fastener... tighten it until it breaks and then back off a 1/2 turn. Young grasshopper, follow this philosophy, and you will surely know greatness...LOL

PI, My fertilizing schedule is semilar to the example in Pumpkins 2, and I change fertilizers when plant growth stages change. I aslo use fish/seaweed with the chemical fertilizer. Tom
