Hey B.C. I was just looking at your growers diary and there is a picture of you and a bass, your smashed finger, an arrowhead and you and a turtle. Plan on growing any pumpkins this year? :)

How do you fix your turtle?

haha!! i love growing pumpkins as much as anybody on this site but you know you can only look at so many plants until they all get to lookin the same..i got about 40 plants up and going as we speak, be glad to show you some if you want to see them.. as for the turtle, the way you clen them is simple pick up their tail and wipe their ass.. in order to cook it, i need to catch one more so i can pair boil them..(get it pair boil it got to have 2 to make a pair!!)

actually we do par boil them to tender um up then just fry it like chicken..they say a turtle has 7 different types of meat in it, i guess they are so slow everybody in the pond get a chance with it...

I know what you mean about all pumpkin plant pretty much looking the same but I still find myself viewing every photo in the diaries and gallery. I post some many pics of my plants I'm sure it sickens some people. First I keep count of leaves then I start measuring leaves then measuring vines........

HEY DONT GET ME WRONG I ALSO LOOK AT EVERY PICTURE MYSELF BUT SOME HOW I END UP LOOKING IN THE BACKGROUND TO TRY AND GET AN IDEA OF THE "LIFESTYLE" (FOR LACK OF A BETTER WORD)OR MAYBE SOMETHING THAT TELLS ME MORE ABOUT THE PERSON WHO POSTED THE PIC.DONT KNOW WHY BUT EVERY TIME I SEE THE PIC OF WALCOTT PUMPKINS TILLER BURIED UP IN THE DIRT I JUST STARE AND STARE AT IT.. IT KINDA MEZMURISES ME.. I GUESS MY PATCH HAS SO MANY DANG ROCKS I CANT GET MY TILLER HALF THAT DEEP.. ITS FUNNY SOME PICS HAVE GIANT HOUSES IN THE BACKGROUND ONE HAS A SCHOOL AND I'VE EVEN SEEN AN A OLD CAMPER OR 2..

It will tell you a little bit about the some of the people hanging around here.

I know what you're talking about when you mentioned rocks in your patch. I think mine used to be the family garbage dump because I'm always tilling up bottles, broken plates, horseshoes, etc....plus more than my share of rocks.

P.S. I've got an old camper AND an old beat up StepVan....if there were a redneck competition on this site I may just win:)
