Is Pumpkinidiot real or a made up personality? The questions asked seem to be so basic as to irritate the "experts" enough that it promotes/goads them into replying. idiot seems to be a contrived personality that takes up valuable space and promotes negative energy. If idiot is supposed to be the comic of AG - ok but...seems as though a number of growers take him seriously. I thought a while before wading into this and will not enter again.

Experience has taught me that if it looks like, acts like, and smells like an idiot, it usually IS an idiot. When there's a fake, or someone not up to snuff ,on this site, he will usually end up ratting himself out. When someone mentions selling some of their prized seeds, I just sit back and watch the arrows fly, until the dust settles. This site is dedicated to those who enjoy (or strive to) growing big pumpkins. I'm sure that John and Ken will agree that sometimes "babysitting" is required. Let's just get out there and grow BIG PUMPKINS!

He's for real JohnNancy. I made the mistake of thinking he is made up and I think I hurt his feelings. I've chatted with him and he seems real to me now. Just an idiot. I hope he grows a giant!!

I think he is real. just a new newbie. If you haven't
grown anything before there is a lot to learn ! Some
have a natural green thumb and some have to work and learn
to get one.
we were all there at one time- for some longer ago than
others. we take a lot of our knowledge for granted.
I for one enjoy his questions. One way to
solidify what you do know - or think you know- it to
try to teach it to someone else.
