since evrybody says that AGs are so great, i got a question. if i wasnt to take care of it like i am supposed, then what kind of pumpkin would i get?
if i was to do the best of my ability to take care of it, then how big should it get?

I think it all depends on enviroment and genetics. My guess is, with minimal care, 150 to 200 pounds should be in reach. After that, who knows. Anyone else have any ideas or stories?

it could get over a 1000lbs if taken care of ,,or 20lber if you do nothing,,a possibility of nothing if you dont take care....

Without help, it's a possibility that none of the female buds would get properly pollinated. Mother nature will often do the job, but with no attention, you might end up with nothin.

Brian I grew the Brown 1007 last year grew a 820.5 on main vine and a 705.5 on a secondary.Would have liked to just let one pumpkin grow on it but I only had two plants last year and the 1048 cox I grew didnt dew very well. The 1007 was a very nice plant Im sure you'll be very happy with it.

For the past two years I have grown them in a heated greenhouse, using good seed acquired through this site, followed the feeding instructions in Langevin, and sadly, have only gotten fifty pounders...woe is me. It might have something to do with living in the Yukon, but I'm trying again this year, and good luck to you too Pumpkinidiot.
