I was just curious? Now what exactly does everybody do with their giant pumpkins after the season has ended? Do you carve them? Do you make a crapload of pumpkin pies? Do you throw it away and let it decompose back into ground or what? I was just wondering what people do with their prize.

You said the right word...PRIZE...and very proud of her...I take her to the Weighoff of course...and then we go camping in the woods of eastern CT...showing off a little to the families that we vacation with... a short hop to VT to visit relatives....then once home we set up a display with hay bales, corn stalks and colorful mums...we all enjoy looking at the "fruit of our labors" until it gets too cold that our pumpkins might freeze...now a "seedectomy"... that is difficult.... harvest and cook approx 40 to 50 lbs for future use...we have had fantastic pumpkin honey raisin walnut breads from these Atlantic Giants....
