I know most growers use blue tarps. But a silver tarp reflects the suns rays and also reflects heat. Leaving the underside of the tarp cooler. So has anyone ever used a silver tarp? does anyone know the differnce in these two?

i have.....and my advice......dont do it. the silver blocks 99% of the sunlight...ultimatly affecting the color of your fruit. if you want orange, i woudlnt use a tarp like this.

I too have heard some of the comments against using silver tarps but also saw on one of Joel Hollands videos where he switched from the blue tarps to the silver tarps and had some huge orange looking pumpkins inside of them. Whats the story?? Is there a proven benefit to using an orange tarp???
