What is the best thing to put under your pumpkin when your traveling to a weigh off that is like 300 miles away from your home? Do you just put the pumpkin on a pallet and that's it? Should you put something betwen the pumpkin and the pallet? Need some help on this one

You want AT LEAST 3 inches of foam under the fruit...between the pallet and the fruit. I use the foam padding found under carpets and things like that....make a nice layer of 4-5-6 pieces. I also put a couple layers between the pallet and the trailer or the bed of the truck. This year the squash will be so large I wont need the foam....i figure the helicopter lift will be smooth enough to not need anything but the PGPGA pumpkin-lifing device....G
