I havent heard much talk about this one. Does anybody have any suggestions on which way to set your seeds.( If your germinating from the ground?)upright or on its side? Does it make a difference? Does it sprout out the side or end or what. curious.

Just lay the seed flat in the ground & it will come up without the seed casing still on it......

I used to always lay the seed in straight in the ground but I would always have to pull the seed coat off. So this year I layed my seed flat in the ground and I did not have to remove the seed coat and risk injuring the plant.

The Sprout always comes out of the pointed end and the root always travels downward. Plant the seed flat as indicated by the above 2 entries between 1" and 1.5" deep.
