Cheerio! Who here is growing a squash this year? Not one of those ugly gray things, a true green squash. I will be growing a 455.4 Andrews which I hope will go green (and big too). Please no squash bashing. Tom

Hi Tom-
I will be growing both the 455.4 and 218 Andrews. I too hope to see the big green monster. Carrie

I will be growing a squash plant and a pumpkin plant. I hope the pumpkin goes orange and the squash goes green.

Ok, It's time for a TRUE Irishmen to chime in on this on St. Patricks Day. Ok on to the green hopefuls, 1st will be the Lyons 900 & the Andrews 455, these 2 won out over the Hester 611 & Corkum 616. I hope it was the right choice. My other "non" green squash hopefuls are my 353 Hungarian & the Vanlderstein 862. I chose the 862 over the Checkon 815 THIS year, next year the 815 is getting crossed with it. Although neither the 862 or 815 are squash they do throw offspring very similar to that of my 353. And either cross could produce seed with "hybrid vigor"........Paul
