Pumpkin growers around the world have been waiting too long for the much anticipated ongoing saga of "PUMPKIN WARS" Episode ll... I am preparing for the May 16th release date at Lucas Films LTD. currently, and have a moment to issue this pre- released press leak to fill everyone in on all the "behind the scenes"...
at the current time, the movie opens with several growers from the dark side practicing cloning experiments. the pumpkin alliance and all of the universe have no idea about the number of growers in hiding which have learned and mastered the art of pumpkin cloning. the pumpkin alliance has known for some time now about cloning, and the growers who have resisted the dark side are preparing for a possible showdown, by getting a superior arsenal of seeds prepared for a possible good Vs mid-evil battle.

the movie then gets heated up and intense. the clone growers come out of hiding in the masses, much to the surprise of the pumpkin alliance, who never anticipated the vast amount of clones which were prepared. the clones which have been screened and selected for battle then begin their assault on the pumpkin alliance, breeding their pre determined and superior genetics with opening females way before the alliance can react and counter act by pollinating their seed grown pumpkins.
mid way through the movie, the pumpkins grown with pollen from male clones begin developing and outpacing the pumpkin alliance's seed pollinated pumpkins. at this point, yoda [played by len stellpflug] explains to the pumpkin alliance how he once was tempted by the forces of the dark side himself, and once harbored and raised two clones. shocked and terrified, growers within the pumpkin alliance can only hope they bred good seed grown male pollinating plants while the clone growers laugh and drink wine while watching their superior bred pumpkins produce the future one thousand five hundred pound plants. then, the alliance discovers some of the males used for breeding are producing splitters and undersized pumpkins not worthy of growing offspring from.
the ending i cannot tell you...you will need to find out yourself...

Marc,
Even though I don't posses the coveted clone please allow me to on occasion to "cross over".
Because as a few chosen ones know, I love nothing more than crossing over to the dark side & getting mid-evil on someones a$$.
If I am allowed to cross on ocassion no harm will come to you or your followers, of that I give you my word.......REFFUH LUAP

AXC...It's never safe to go out in the garden!

Everyone...Thought it was kinda funny to hear about the movie title, and even funnier when I saw the release date...thought everyone would get a good laugh from that one, as it's getting close to "being serious" time, and it was time for a good laugh...hope it made some of you smile!

Marc-

I applaud your work and fine it very interesting. I
enjoy reading about it and hope you keep it up.
my question:
is what you are doing realy cloning ? to me
it seems to me that you are making cutting and
using them to make a new plant.
I'm not up on all the scientific language of
plant propigation- so i'm just asking....
anyway what's the difference between cloning
and cutting in plants? or is there a difference?

just curious- not trying to cause trouble. REALY !

Gordon,
A real clone is usually grown from a single cell. Now there's an idea or after the borers hit your 705 or 723 and there's one cell left.
