Hi Everyone, I've been trying to figure out what to plant this season and was hoping to get some input from you all. I've got room for 6 plants and have decided on two of them so far ( 845 Bobier 00 and 1064.5 Needham 00). I'm not sure about the last four but have narrowed it down to the following list:
1) 1061 Pukos 01 - 805 Pukos 00 x 805 Pukos 00 2) 1048 Cox 00 - 914 Wentzell 98 x 981.5 Gervais 98 3) 980 Kuhn 01 - 723 Bobier 99 x 712 Kuhn 4) 960 Rose 01 - 723 Bobier 99 x 801.5 Stelts 5) 922.5 Emmons 01 - 705 Stelts 00 x 940 Mombert 98 6) 845 Nesbitt 01 - 846 Calai 99 x 723 Bobier 99 7) 761 Mombert 01 - 940 Mombert 98 x 723 Bobier 99 8) 725 Holland 01 - 567.5 Mombert x 705 Stelts 00 9) 707 Toftness 01 - 846 Calai 99 x 723 Bobier 99
Anyone got any suggestions?

980 Kuhn, 922 Emmons, 845 Nesbitt, and 725 Holland would be my choices, I feel that if I grew them I could break 40 pounds! lol. Tom

I would do the following 1 980 2 922.5 3 725 holland cross with number 2 4 845 or 707 and cross with number 1 then again you have many great crosses that should do well. so flip a coin after the top 2. there are a lot of votes for the 980 so i would keep that one

well, i repeat the two i listed above plus the 960 rose and 924 rose '01 (even though not on your list). 924 Rose '01 (611 hester x 801 stelts) and 922 Emmons '01 are the the 2001 seeds I like the best.

I think a 980 X 922.5 would be good, that would provide some genes that aren't closly related to those of the 980, but are very good. An 845 or 707 X 980 would have to much 935 Lloyd, crossing the 845 or 707 with the 725 or 922.5 would be nice. A 725 X 845 would be a nice cross also. The 1064 Needham would make a good pollenator for both the 922.5 and the 845 Bobier. The 922.5 would also do well as a pollenator for the 845 Bobier. Tom
