Here in Canada, where we're supposed to have so much snow, we only have about 4 inches! It is supposed to be above freezing today, a far cry from the -30 we had 3 days ago!

Yesterday, we had snow in the morning, sleet in the afternoon, freezing rain in the late afternoon, rain in the evening and 40 degrees this morning. Later today it's supposed to get windy (gusts up to 50 mph) and temperature drops into the 20's.

It's 56 degrees and balmy here right now, but winds are gusting up to 60 m.p.h. Just some rain last night, but we are gradually returning to "winter", as the day wears on!

Hey Stan, if you think 85 degrees is bad you should be here about the middle of July.

We had the warmest start of February for more than 100 years (as in the news this morning) - around 65 deg F! I look at this as a sign for a nice year for I don´t think winter is already over, frost till April would be usual. Ingo

The weather today is sunny, so far today the high is 38F. I just love it! It's been a mild winter so far, with only one major snow storm. I went into a local nursery today, just to look around. God I can't wait till Spring !!!!!! Here in Iowa, we usually have a very long Winter. Judy

Had to take today off the ground here is so hard (HOW HARD IS IT???) We tryed to dig a trench with our backhoe and after 2 hours of pounding the ground we had a 8" deep 2' wide hole dug, It was suposed to be 140 feet long and 4 foot deep. Needless to say but we won't start that fondation till Spring. H-K-J <;-(

H-K-J, I just chisled my way through 8 inches of frost in 6 locations to collect a soil sample for A&L labs. I about froze my n*^% off doing it. The sub soil sure looked, and smelled nice though (Like a breath of spring)...
