Group, My name is Brad Walters. I am one of the IPGA (Indiana Pumpkin Growers Assoc.) organizers. My fellow friend and pumpkin grower, Tom Beachy, informed me of the problem some of you have had in trading with Mikkal a certain 13 yr. old from our home state of Indiana. This whole situation is a very unfortunate one. However, it should be resolved soon. I just spoke with Mikkal's mother on the phone. She assured me they had no idea what has been going on. She also assured me she would resolve the issue promptly. I hope this helps bring some closure to this issue. If you lost your seeds trading with Mikkal you should consider responding to this message. His Mom is going to view this message board in a effort to get an idea of what has been going on.
Thank you,
Brad Walters IPGA Organizer

Mikkal assured me several times that he is going to return my seed....as soon as he can get to a Post Office. I wonder how far out of town he lives? If he cannot come up with a "real" 712, then I would like my seed returned.

Mikkal said his parents were punishing him. He had to clean the whole house and he was grounded. Very interesting.

Enough is enough. Please stop commenting and making senceless remarks. If you made a bad trade with Mikkal, Email his father directly. He promises to make everyone whole.

Brad actually contacted a parent this time. Mikkal was acting as his father, but did a poor job at it. Tom Beachy

I wanted to let all the growers know that i got my seeds back from Mikkal (by the advising of his parents and thier help). They have been very kind and helpful. The seeds i got back have been identified and are concluded to be authentic. I send my thanks to Larry Hodge. I hope anyone else who was taken my Mikkal will post under this thread and his parents will contact you to get your seeds back.
Regards
casey
