It's a little cool here this morning with the temperature of -35C and we are shooting for a high of -27C.....sure makes you know your alive when you walk out side in the morning. We have cold snaps like this a couple of times per winter.

Cold here in Edmonton as well. We hit -30 here for the first time in yers last night. A guy can spit, and have it freeze before it hits the ground! One can only dream of a nice warm pumpkin growing summer.

thebez,smitty,,how do you keep the pipes from freezing with weather like that???No mosquito's in the summer either I bet...Wow,,,we already got them buzzing us when we go to bed....I was in -20 with a 20 mph west wind in Nebraska one time,,being from the south,,I couldnt take it..Had to go back to the bronco and wait on my father-in-law...Good thing I did,,,only deer I have mounted I shot from the bronco that day.....Hope it warms up for ya,,,

It has been sunny, clear and 75 degrees for last couple weeks. Harvesting of Avocados and Tangerines is a daily chore. Lawns need mowing every weekend. Rained last night about 1 inch with low of 45.

We received 3/10 inch of rain last night and more on it's way from Oregon for tonight. Storm should bring another inch say's the weather-man. Overnight temp's in the forty's daytime in the low 60's. Polka Dot can you keep it up there so we will have plenty of water for the summer.

in the 60's the past few days! Going back to normal weather here soon though. Last year by this time, i'd shoveled a few feet of snow, only a dusting all season this year! Hope the trend keeps up till spring!!!!!

It was uncommonly mild over the weekend (40's) but got 2 or 3 in of snow today. We need at least another foot here. The drought is hanging on tight. I've never seen the sagebrush look so thirsty! Brian & Harold...I'd sure be happy if you would let some of that snow drift over to this side of the mountain!

It snowed in Sacramento yesterday- just a trace. There was snow north and east of us but not south of Highway 50 in the valley. Just rain in Sloughhouseand Elk Grove. It is cold here today 33 at 8:15 p.m. we covered up the cirtus trees. The cold is on the way to Southern CA.

Better late than never! We're getting ready to get dumped
on here in Mid-Michigan. It's snowing in the Detroit area right now, and we're supposed to get towards 6 inches by daybreak, and up to 8 more tomorrow......27 degrees.
We had the warm snap last week too, but it's back close to normal now!
