I grew one last year. had some problems with the plant in the begining of the season. It just wouldn't grow seemed stunted then when it started to take of the main vine kept spliting into two vines.I kept cutting one of but it would try to split again.had to cut it three times and it finally stopped splitting .I just let the whole plant grow as much as it wanted to and kind of stopped watering it and fertelizing it. Had a lot of aborts. I ended up with three pumpkins on the plant. The one on the main was 466Lb estimated, and two on separate side vines.one 435LB estimated and the other one was 360LB estimated. the plant ended up about 1000 square feet. That doesn't mean someone else didn't have better luck than me.
