Could you use damp newspaper, wrapped around something round, say a coffee can, pull the bottom under and after a few layers you should have something that could substitute for peat pots. Just make sure that you use non-toxic or soy printed paper only. Do you think this could work?...Tom

I can buy 4 inch pots here 6 for 1.99.
I talked to a lady at the nursey and she said she could sell me some 9 x 9 pots. They use them for small roses.
No one here has any thing bigger than 4 inches right now. Its too bad nobody wanted 3 1/2 inches I could get them for 14 cents each right now. They are being discontinued.

I make my own peat pots using 25 lbs of Canadian spagnum peat moss, water, flower, and a 50 gallon drum.
