Sorry I originally posted this under Fertilizing & Watering I'm on my 2nd 30 gal.barrel of T. I used same stuff as 1st, but put Garden Dirt/Compost Bin Dirt/ & green leafy substance in panty-hose(bag) to avoid straing.4C.alfafa 3C molasses, old H20 Melon & tomatoes. Foam i got not as thick as 1st batch w/everything loose. It's been 4-5 days stirring in brown sugar to reactivate. the foam all but disappeared. Lt.brown color, smells ok. Could bagging materials hurt brewing?? Too tight??
On Cleaning I read some of the E-coli Messages. Yikes!! I had cleaned the barrel w/bleach and rinsed well. I only rinsed the tubing & the 2x 12" fish tank bubblers. Could I have contaminated something.
Any feedback on ingredients: Karo Corn Syrup, Apple Cider Vinegar, Epsom Salt?? thanks klancy
