It seems all us maritimers have gone into there Clan mode. Keeping to themselves and keeping tight lipped. I'd love to know how were doing and see how far behind I am. if you want to keep it secret to others than just shoot me an email. I'd love to hear from fellow growers here.

Hi Sean, I have one plant going intended for the "Hilda Dill" contest in Windsor. Nice and healthy but with all this rain there is nothing but abort after abort. I was up to Tom Corkum's place a few weeks back and at that time he had some nice one's going, after this rain and heat I bet he is ahead of last year. I haven't heard how Jeff is doing although I drive past his patch almost every day! Wayne Knox and Phil Dance had to take a year off due to health problems and Carl is posting regularly and that's all I know, lol.

Hi Mr.T. Here in N.B. it has been up and down with the weather. Plant growth early on was very slow.Lots of aborts at pollination time. I have 7 fruit finally set. Ages currently range from 4,5,6,15,21 and 27 days. Plant growth is very aggressive. All fruit have long stems and good positions. Growth is ramping up quickly even on the late sets.

After a very rough start germinating seeds, horrible month of june and loosing my best plant in a wind storm, things have really turned around for the best.Pollinations look like they have taken and my plants are larger and healthier than they have ever been(approx500sqft)with at least 400sqft left to fill in.My 1144 was grown on less than 300sqft and my plants have never been larger than 300 so i'm looking to pull a biggie out of the patch this year.Wheather permmiting of course.Good luck. Carl

Hey Sean i really dont understand why you don't see a lot more diares posted. Everything has to be top secret when it comes to growing these monsters. I think if i got a couple biggies goin after day 20 i might join the club.

I don't know the exact date Carl, but I do know that it was a June pollination and the plant at that time was very well established considering the date. I can't remember a Summer when we had both heat and lots of rain, must be the reason.
