How are BC growers doing?
I am waiting for the sun.
Idleing at 150 and dancing to the sun gods.

Mine just made the 100+ mark - it was pollinated later on July 6. I'm hoping the better weather that's forecasted will help the pumpkin pack on the pounds.

I am in the British Isles and have much the same problem cheryl. No point in getting upset though, at the end of the day it is just a pumpkin.

OK, I don't normally do this. Since my daughter posted her numbers, I feel obliged to do the same. She beat me last year and I told her she wasn't allowed to do it this year.
As of this morning:
1104 van Kooten '06 - ott 257, est. 367 lbs.
1142 van Kooten '04 - ott 255.5, est 359 lbs.
1689 Jutras '07 - ott 230, est 265 lbs.
998.6 Pukos '05 - ott 220, est 234 lbs.
We need a couple months of warm/hot weather on the coast.

My dad was surprised when I didn't respond to his little jab about not letting me beat him this year. I'm pretty sure that he keeps some new secret from me each year to ensure his pumpkins outweigh mine. I'll have to frame the picture of us last year that shows my larger pumpkin beside his.... at least I'll have proof that I beat him at least one time!
