April 12th is when I'm going to germinate my 1st seeds. I am going to try heating cables and a larger hoop-house this year on 1 early site. The hope is to get one on early and ride it out...I should be pollinating around June 18th if all goes well.

Then I'm going to wait until April 30th to germ the others for my last 3 spots. That way I'm setting them out May 7-14 depending on the weather and will be clear of the last frost. These 3 I hope to be pollinating 6/30 to 7/10 if all goes well.

Farming- a bunch of catastrophies that result in a lifestyle

*Generally* My last frost is around march 15th. I've made a little house and am planning on starting one of my winter crosses then...if all goes well.

I met awl the good guy's there!!! Or traveled w/them to Indy!!! & then start one in time for BearWallow, which always has been third Sat, in September!!! Count back, 150 days...I guess? Peace, Wayne

Please keep us posted on the September 8-9 possible Tenn weigh-off. We've got family over that way ...makes for a good excuse to travel. It would be a good early weigh-off option for everyone if your pumpkin won't make it to October.
