hello all,, i set up a new plot it was horrible soil so i brought in pre bagged soil but one nice sunny day and i have noticed it drys out really easy,, not impressed is there a way i can bring more moisture to the soil like all of my other plots,,if it can not hold moisture now i would hate to see it in the heat of the summer,, any help out there

You can add any composted organic matter,also peat moss is a good choice just watch your soil ph.you may have to add lime to counter the acidity, Benotite clay is another choice. Terry

You can cover the soil with some kind of mulch to keep the moisure in. Weed block material, staw etc. It will help keep the water from evaporating.Also will keep weeds down.
