Thanks Bob. The 1103 had a real nice orange color not the reddish orange that some people really like but it was a great color. I am hoping the offspring will follow suit, only time will tell.

There must be more out there, I can't keep up with all the diaries these days. Plus pics of the pumpkins from guys that don't post. Every weighoff has a HD winner let's se them.
Is it just me or is the 1161 becoming a legitimate orange producing seed?

Jamie and Pete, they are nice ones. What was the weight of the 1468 pumpkin? I often look for a big pumpkin genetic-wise that unexpectedly goes orange.

My son Jacob won the prettiest pumpkin award at Aanmosa with his 839.5 grown from a 1351 Trumm. http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=171405 I had a nice 919.5 grown from a 1209 Courson seed. It might hav had just a little better color than Jacob's did, but the shape wasn't nearly as nice. http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=171404
