Experiencing a lot of new things this year, already way more successful than last year with my Lowes AG seeds. I love the way this Wallace 2261.5 vine is growing and looks but is this coloration normal with different light and dark green colorations? I have read about genes and colors just not sure if I am deficient on something that I need to address or this is how they grow color wise based on the genetics.

Totally normal looking. Some vines are more green, some are more yellow. More yellow may mean better orange color.

I've been seeing a lot more yellow vines lately. An influx of yellow vine genes has occured lately? I think it's just the genetics. I havent seen a correlation with pumpkin color but I've never really gotten a "red-orange." There may be a correlation there, idk.

From you picture it is totally normal you're seeing extremely fast growth they will turn green as the vine gets longer. Keep'm growing!

That's good news and orange would be nice if its true, I had my soil test done at Western and Mr. Taberna was very helpful in explaining what to add before planting as long as I did not mess up the sample which was my first guess.

Solid green color, solid yellow and a mix of green and yellow vines are all normal.theyre kind of pretty when there is a mix and the tendrils have some yellow in them. The more yellow in the vine maybe orange pumpkin but not always.

If it wasn't healthy, you wouldn't have all those fast growing secondaries. Looks good!
